By accessing and using Selekt Chicken's platform to order from the best fried chicken restaurants in UK, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Selekt Chicken. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Selekt Chicken provides an online platform connecting customers with the best fried chicken shops in UK. We facilitate ordering, payment processing, and delivery coordination, but we are not the seller or provider of the food items.
All food is prepared and sold by independent restaurant partners. While we carefully select partners offering the best fried chicken in UK, the restaurants are responsible for food quality, preparation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Delivery is provided by independent courier partners. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on distance, traffic, weather, and restaurant preparation time.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and placing orders. This includes delivery addresses and contact information.
You may not: (a) use our platform for illegal purposes, (b) attempt to interfere with platform functionality, (c) use automated systems to access the platform, (d) post false reviews or ratings, (e) abuse promotional offers or coupons, or (f) impersonate others.
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. By using the platform, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
When you place an order through our platform, you are making an offer to purchase items from the restaurant. The restaurant has the right to accept or decline your order. Order confirmation constitutes acceptance.
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are set by individual restaurants and may change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the final price you will pay.
Additional fees may apply including delivery fees, service charges, and small order fees. All fees are clearly displayed before order confirmation.
Payment is processed at the time of order placement. We accept credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and cash on delivery (where available). Failed payments may result in order cancellation.
You may cancel an order within a limited time after placement, typically before the restaurant begins preparation. Once preparation has started, cancellation may not be possible. Cancellation requests should be made through the app or by contacting support immediately.
Restaurants reserve the right to cancel orders due to item unavailability, operational issues, or other valid reasons. You will receive a full refund for restaurant-initiated cancellations.
Refunds are issued for: (a) cancelled orders (before preparation), (b) missing items, (c) incorrect items, or (d) quality issues. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of delivery. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
We cannot issue refunds for: (a) customer-initiated cancellations after preparation has started, (b) delivery delays beyond our control (traffic, weather), (c) customer unavailability at delivery address, (d) subjective taste preferences, or (e) failure to read item descriptions.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. We strive to deliver from the best fried chicken shops in UK as quickly as possible, but times may vary due to factors beyond our control.
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses. Re-delivery fees may apply.
By accepting delivery, you confirm receipt of your order. Inspect items upon delivery and report any issues immediately through the app.
If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, the order may be cancelled without refund or subject to re-delivery fees.
All content on the Selekt Chicken platform, including logos, text, graphics, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to Selekt Chicken and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission. The Selekt Chicken name and logo are trademarks and may not be used without authorization.
Selekt Chicken acts as an intermediary between customers and restaurants. We are not liable for: (a) quality, safety, or legality of items ordered, (b) restaurant's ability to fulfill orders, (c) courier delays or delivery issues beyond our control, (d) food allergies or dietary issues (please verify with restaurants), or (e) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these may not apply to you.
If you have a dispute with a restaurant or courier, please contact our customer support. We will attempt to mediate and resolve issues, but we are not obligated to provide refunds or compensation beyond our refund policy.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice.
Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must discontinue use of our services.
